Harrow Observer.co.uk:

The homepage for The Harrow Observer.co.uk is presented in a neat, simple layout. There is a masthead in the top left corner of "Harrow Observer.co.uk" to show readers that this site is part of the The Harrow Observer. Immediately beneath the masthead there is a guide bar which contains hotspots that take the user to whichever part of the site they desire (Hotspots are labelled as News, Sport, Communities, Videos & Pics, Lifestyle, Classifieds, Forums, Weather and Sitemap) . The overall colour theme of this page is a white background with either blue or red bars providing a background to the headers of different sections.
Underneath the guide bar and advertisements there is a flash slide show embedded which contains news about Harrow and the local area, the slide show automatically flicks through as to catch the readers eye.
Then there are headlines from other sections, but these are mainly just head lines that act as links to the story itself. The page also contains advertisements by Google, O2, Premier inn etc.
